Vice President of Sales & Marketing for medDISPENSE

With a career in healthcare and technology spanning two decades, Steve Short comes well suited to his position as VP of Sales & Marketing for medDISPENSE. With an extensive development background in the healthcare industry combined with similar previously held positions in technology firms, medDISPENSE presented a unique opportunity to merge these two arenas experience.

Short started his healthcare career in 1988 with Psychiatric Institutes of America (formerly a part of what is now Tenet Healthcare Corporation). In his five years with the company, he headed up its Professional Relations division for the eastern US. From there he went on to serve in recruitment and business development roles at Horizon Health and Charter Medical Corporation. In 2000, Short left healthcare to pursue a career in software sales – serving in roles with Telstra, Peregrin Systems and Envision Telephony.

Having joined medDISPENSE in 2003, Short heads up the business development functions for the company – overseeing its national sales force and coordinating all marketing activities. He holds a BA Degree in Corporate Communications with dual Minors in Marketing and Management from Northern Kentucky University.
