Ann Nizzi
Chief Financial Officer

Ann Nizzi joined the medDISPENSE team in February 2001 as Corporate Controller.

Ann worked for Grant Thornton auditing midsize companies, not-for-profit organizations and city and county governments. While working at Grant Thornton she met the owner of Radiation Care, a start-up innovative outpatient radiation therapy company. "Healthcare just seemed to be where all the pioneering was happening; not only in the accounting field but in the industry as a whole." While working at Radiation Care they went public with a self-administered public offering. She worked for Radiation Care from 1991 until 1994.

After Radiation Care, Ann went to work as the corporate controller for another new company, PharmaSource Healthcare, Inc. located in Norcross, Georgia. PharmaSource is a pharmacy management company. "It was an exciting time. The start-up team worked so well together developing this new business. It was like watching your own child grow."

Ann worked for PharmaSource until late in 2000. A larger corporation had purchased PharmaSource and she felt it was time to move on. "Many of the hospitals we managed at PharmaSource used medDISPENSE machines. Bill McClintock had just purchased medDISPENSE and asked me to come to work for him. It was again a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a newly developing company."

Ann is a Certified Public Accountant and received her M.B.A. degree in 1989 from Georgia State University.
