Andrew Hicks
Regional Vice President of Sales (Eastern US)

Andrew has been involved with medDISPENSE from it's inception. In 1997 Andrew joined forces with David Bond and Bill McClintock to design a cost effective solution for dispensing automation geared for facilities that needed an option to traditional dispensing systems that were costly and difficult to use. Their idea evolved into an easy to use system that was affordable not only to larger hospitals but smaller ones who thought this type of technology was out of reach. Andrew put his degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics as well as an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology to use designing a system that not only could withstand the rigors of everyday use but was affordable.

Before joining medDISPENSE, Andrew was an Electrical Engineer for Commonwealth Edison in Chicago and the Square D Company in Clearwater, FL. He has also spent time abroad living in both Japan and Europe as well as working in South and Central America.

"I consider myself very lucky to have been in the right place at the right time to become affiliated with medDISPENSE, the early days were a little rough but now that we have an established customer base and word has gotten out, there is no turning back. Our employees are our greatest asset, they care about our customers and it shows."

As the Director of Operations, Andrew is responsible for all new installations, vendor relationships, call center management as well as various other day to day functions of the business.
